Join North American Bancard At the Premiere of Start Up Season 2

If you are in the metro Detroit area, we invite you to come out and attend the Start Up season 2 premiere event Friday, Oct. 17.

The party kicks off at 8 p.m. with live music, cocktails and the airing of the first episode at Twist in Ferndale. The event is free and open to the public.

Here’s a preview of what’s to come in each episode in season 2. Check out their website to find out more:

Episode 1: Crabby Head

In this episode, Luke in Atlanta, GA, shows off his new seafood restaurant called Sack Daddy’s. This new restaurant is based off his family’s recipe. Later in the episode, the crew travels to Louisville, KY to talk to Heather, the creator of Custom Wig Company, which makes handmade wigs for customers around the world.

Episode 2: Lip Service

The crew heads out to visit Steve and Andre in Cedar Rapids, IA in this episode. This married couple created Eco lips, a B corporation that creates organic lip balm. The next destination in this episode is Birmingham, Alabama, where the hosts talk to Selena, the founder of Sarcor, a civil engineering firm that helps redesign local communities.

Episode 3: Rotelle me More

In Minneapolis, MN, the crew heads out to meet with Roger, the owner of a bike shop called Alley Cats. The shop not only sells bikes, but repairs and restores them as well. In Iowa City, IA, Gary and the crew talk to Julie, creator of ZaZa’s, an Italian specialty market that makes fresh homemade pasta.

Episode 4: Pie in the Sky

The first trip takes the crew to Birmingham, Alabama to meet with a couple people who started Slice Pizza, a family business focused on locals and the community. After that, the crew goes to meet Emily in Louisville, KY. Here, Emily created Graceship, a company that produces multiuse handbags.
