Why we were nominated

We won this award due to the outstanding leadership, engagement, and community outreach exhibited by our NAB team.

  1. Leadership

    • Discussions to ensure that team members had the flexibility and leadership support needed to balance personal and professional demands.
    • Continued focus on transparency through monthly, company-wide business updates.
    • Training for leaders to help team members deal with tragic loss and to identify emotional issues while managing teams virtually.

  2. Engagement 

    • The launch of NAB Zen Spend, a lifestyle spending account that is tied to the pillars of our Wellness Program.
    • Internal communication strategy focused on wellness and belonging at NAB initiatives and observances.
    • Our company-wide Hack-A-Thon challenge for all team members to participate and collaborate with various people and departments to bring forth a prototype for a solution in the FinTech industry.
  3.  Community Outreach
    • Corporate donations made to the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s “Never Forget Fund,” World Central Kitchen to assist Afghanistan Refugees, GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and Feeding America.
    • Encouraging team members to repurpose unused Volunteer time to support non-partisan voter engagement efforts that are aligned with our core values and providing two hours of PTO to vote for all team members.
